It fell in 2014

YES IT DID! After BF4 it was all down hill and has been swan diving ever since.

It wasn't a game that corrupted gaming

I didnt say it was a singular game, I said it was AFTER Battlefield 4 that gaming took a swan dive.

But it wasn't that gamers changed

Excuse me . Are those presenters men? In dresses?

Who knows! Modern gaming’s greatest mystery.

I would just walk on General principle.

I'll keep my money for Stellar blade bloodrain, FF7 (pt3) and Resident Evil Veronica.

Kratos was already losing some of his masculinity, I saw this coming.

I bet I can just make a barebones game in Godot and people will play it just because there'd be no "mOdErN" culture

Give it a try.

My husband watched all these. The only thing he was interested in was the Egg-stremely Hard Game, with the two geese carrying the nest with the egg. That's it. A dorky little indie game and nothing else. My kids were excited for all the NIntendo remakes in today's direct, but that's all it was. Remakes. Ocarina of Time is getting a remake. Woo. Such risk.

The excitement is… gone.

And that’s a huge problem.

Basically, the industry is basically just mid-size French gems like Spiders and the rest is a woke social welfare program. I'm excited to get a rig that can run Greedfall 2

That's what it all boils down to.

Sure! Get that rig.
